Floor space: 766 m² including a basement level, ground floor, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.

This multi-family residential building occupying an area of 1,173 m² in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona), was designed by Ferran Huerta and Jordi Llobell in 2020. The building consists of four units distributed over three floors and a basement level with fourteen parking spaces and six storage rooms.

All of the homes in this multi-family building are equipped with high-quality finishes and first-class equipment. Radiant floor heating powered by natural gas condensing boilers and reinforced with solar thermal collectors installed on the communal roof provides the building with an increased level of energy efficiency.

The air conditioning inside the units is delivered through a network of ducts concealed in the unit’s dropped ceilings, powered by high efficiency heat pumps. The external machinery for all units is located on the communal rooftop terrace.

Special care was taken with the building facade, camouflaging its size by making it look like a series of typical houses in the area. To achieve this objective, Ferran Huerta and Jordi Llobell worked with the shape and layout of the balconies on the facade and the shutters that protect the openings from the sunlight.
